Dr. Raby's COVID-19 Recommendations

The COVID-19 infection requires preparedness, which will help reduce potential distress and promote a sense of empowerment through action. Please note, these recommendations are not meant to replace advice or treatment from your healthcare professional.

The suggestions included here are intended as a proactive guideline only. Contact our office if you have concerns 312.276.1212, and your call will be triaged accordingly.


  • Wear your mask as needed
  • Drink half your weight in ounces of water daily (ie 200 lbs = 100 oz of water)
  • 8 or more hours of sound sleep per night
  • Minimize stress
  • Restorative exercise (yoga, walking, stretching)
  • Spend time with loved ones and be in the moment
  • Acupuncture/Acupressure
  • Immune Support Wet Socks Treatment (



  • Avoid refined sugar, wheat/gluten, dairy, coffee, alcohol
  • 4-6 cups organic green tea daily
  • Multi-colored vegetables daily
  • Healthy fats* (nuts, avocados, extra virgin olive oil, pasture raised eggs, fresh caught fish, chia and flax seeds, MCT Oil)
  • Bone broths
  • Hearty vegetable soups
  • Cook with immune boosting foods and herbs (basil, oregano, ginger, garlic, turmeric, cayenne, cinnamon, lemon, lime, onion, chile peppers, beets, artichokes, mushroom, cruciferous vegetables, berries)


    • Vitamin C (Vitamin C 3000 mg 1-2 times per day. May cause loose stools at high dosage. If troublesome diarrhea occurs reduce dose by 1000 to 2000 mg)
    • Vitamin D3 (5000 IU 1 per day with healthy fats*. Have vitamin D levels checked to optimize levels)
    • Stress B Complex or K-Pax (1 per day with food)
    • KPax (4 per day with food. Includes high dose B vitamins, CoQ10, NAC, Turmeric, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and more)
    • Myco-Immune (Alcohol based mushroom tincture. 1 dropper 3 times per day)
    • Megaspore Probiotic (1 per day with food. If tolerated after one week, increase to 2 per day)
